What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep essential features working, or understand how pages are used. Similar storage (such as localStorage) may be used for the same purposes.

How SummitPath Lab uses cookies

We use essential cookies and storage so the cookie banner can remember your choice and so basic site functions work. We may use analytics cookies only if you accept them, to learn which pages about technical journal review training are most useful. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block access to session descriptions, rates, or the inquiry form.

Your choice is stored under the key summitpath_cookie_consent in localStorage.

Managing and disabling cookies

Use the Accept or Reject buttons on our banner. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes the stored choice and shows the banner again. Browser controls can block third-party cookies entirely; see your browser’s help pages.

Third-party cookies

If analytics are enabled after consent, third parties such as Google may set cookies subject to their own policies. We do not control those independent policies. Fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP to Google under their terms.

Impact of disabling

Essential storage for consent will still be needed to remember a Reject choice. Blocking all cookies may reset the banner on each visit. Optional analytics simply will not run if you reject them — training content and inquiry remain available.
