Phuket studio logistics for visiting cohorts
Visiting teams often ask whether Phuket is a serious place for technical journal work or a vacation with a whiteboard. It is a working studio that happens to sit near the Andaman. We start on time. We also plan for weather.
Arrival. Aim to be in the room by 09:15 for a 09:30 start. The address is Office 7, 76 Placeholder Road, Phuket 00000. Street parking is limited; we share a map pin after deposit.
Packets. We keep a dry cabinet for printed articles. If you prefer screens, bring a charged laptop and a local PDF copy — monsoon humidity is unkind to last-minute airport downloads.
Pace. Midday breaks are real. Critique quality drops when people skip water. Strategy clinics after 15:00 are shorter on purpose.
Remote participants join the same clock in ICT. We do not run a second “evening track” for other continents inside an open cohort; if time zones make that impossible, ask for a dedicated remote cohort date.
The island setting is not a metaphor for “journey” branding. It is a place with humidity, traffic, and a room where technical journal review still gets three full days of attention.
